Custom Shaped Tactical TPE/TPU or Leatherette Patches
Custom Shaped Tactical TPE/TPU or Leatherette Patches
Standard woven cloth patches fray, fade, and rot. We don't make those. Read the descriptions on what we have to offer:
The TPE/TPU Build:
- Material: Your choice of High-flex Thermoplastic Polyurethane (glossy transparent or solid colors), or thermoplastic elastomers (only Matte Black available.) These patches are waterproof, tear-resistant, and chemical resistant. They feel like heavy-duty tactical gear and are built to survive the pit, the van, and the elements.
- Application: Sewn-on or riveted. Due to the chemical resistance of TPU, iron-on adhesives do not bond permanently. These must be stitched to your jacket, bag, or harness. However, We have found that if you can iron it on from the back side of your fabric, it sticks rather well. Industrial adhesives may also work, but we have not done the proper tests.
- Durability: 100% waterproof, UV-resistant, and fray-proof.
- Colors: We prefer to stick to black, but we can make these out of any color you want. We can even make them transperent. We will go by your artwork
The Leatherette Build:
Laser engraving only gives you one color: burnt. We use industrial UV-cured polymer inks to print your band's artwork in high-resolution, full color directly onto heavy-duty faux leather.
These provide the classic, rugged look of a leather patch but with the ability to reproduce complex, multi-colored album art, gradient logos, and intricate designs that standard woven patches or lasers cannot physically achieve.
- Material: Heavy-weight Leatherette (Faux Leather). Vegan-friendly and water-resistant.
- Print Process: Full-color, flexible UV ink bonding.
- Application: Available with heat-press adhesive backing or bare for direct sewing.
- Aesthetic: Clean, sharp contrast with a premium tactile feel.
- Colors: Whe only stock black and white
Dimensions: Custom sized to your artwork (Standard max size: 3" x 5").
Artwork: These can be done a couple of different ways. With a raised 3D surface or a UV print. The UV print is the only option for rasterized artwork. There will need a border of at least 3mm around your artwork for the base material. The will be the color of your base. We can do them in a transparent material, and if you want this, make it known in your artwork. Keep in mind the if you are getting a transparent material, that they will look dark on a dark fabric. They look pretty sweet in the right light though.
